We hope to provide relevant information that will help to promote a thorough understanding of your responsibilities and the expectations of any temporary employed by Alliance. Procedures
Following the registration and selection process you will be advised of any temporary assignments relevant to your skills and experience. All offers of employment are subject to references, two of which will need to be supplied. On accepting an assignment your consultant will provide the following information:
• Job title
• Hourly rate
• Name and Address of Company
• Telephone number of Company
• Name of person to report to
• How long the assignment will be for
• Hours of work including any break times
• Facilities available i.e canteen/rest room
• Parking arrangements
• Detailed information regarding the responsibilities and expectations of the role
• Company policies on dress/smoking/Health and Safety/personal phone calls
You will be presented with a timesheet at the beginning of each week to record the hours worked. (When completing this, could we ask you to round all hours up or down to the nearest quarter of an hour.) Following completion please ensure that a senior member of the client's staff signs your timesheet for verification of hours worked. We can not accept any timesheet unsigned.
In order for us to process the payroll on time we need to have all timesheets back in our office by 10.00am on the following Monday. You therefore have Friday evening and all weekend to either drop it through our letterbox or to fax it on 01604 631141. (Please note posting your timesheet is not advisable as it is unlikely we will receive it on time.)
In addition the following forms would need to be completed or provided:
1. Bank Details
2. P45 or a P46/P38 completed
3. Terms of Engagement for Temporary Workers
4. Opt-out of 48 hours working week agreement
Temporary worker code of conduct charter
The temporary worker is not obliged to accept any assignment offered by Alliance Recruitment. If however following acceptance of an assignment circumstances change and the individual can no longer commit it is imperative that he/she contacts Alliance Recruitment immediately to enable a replacement to be arranged. During every assignment and there after the following code of conduct should be adhered to:-
1. If the temporary worker is unable to arrive at the designated time or is unable to attend work during the course of the assignment he/she should inform the client or Alliance Recruitment immediately (within ? hour of the commencement time) giving the reason and anticipated return day
2. Unless arrangements have been made to the contrary, conform to normal hours of work in force at the client's establishment. Should time off be needed, endeavour to arrange interviews/appointments outside of work hours or first/last thing in the day. Ensure that an immediate supervisor/manager has given prior consent.
3. Co-operate with the client's staff and accept direction, supervision and control of any responsible person in the clients' organisation. If the allocated work has been completed or there is insufficient work then ask a member of staff if assistance is needed elsewhere.
4. Observe any relevant rules and regulations of the Client's establishment to which attention has been drawn or which the Temporary worker might reasonably be expected to ascertain
5. Take all reasonable steps to safeguard their own safety and the safety of any other person who may be present or affected by their actions on the assignment and comply with the health and safety policies of the Client. It is every workers responsibility to ensure that they are aware of the companies health & safety policy and should familiarise themselves with the fire drill and emergency exits
6. Not at any time divulge to any person, nor use for his own or any other person's benefit, any confidential information relating to the Client's or the Employment Business' employees, business affairs, transactions or finances
7. No individual should make personal phone calls or use the client companies e-mail facilities without express permission from the immediate supervisor/manager.
8. Unless otherwise specified all temporary workers should be dressed in suitable office wear, smartly presented.
9. Not engage in any conduct detrimental to the interests of the Client

• We will ensure that you receive prompt payment of your wages direct into your bank account via BACS on a weekly basis.
• We will monitor the accrual of your holiday entitlement weekly to enable a fast & accurate response to any enquiries.
• We will post to you timesheets & payslips on a weekly basis.
• We are committed to ensuring that our loyal & reliable temporary workers are kept working (+ given the best assignments!).
• We will investigate thoroughly any complaints by one of our workers regarding any client or consultant.
• We will ensure that you receive the highest rates of pay possible for the assignments offered (and guarantee to comply with the government's national minimum wage).
